Steve Yates and I have worked together for many years and for all those years he continued to amaze me with his talent as an Audio Engineer, Musician and over the last 15 years a extremely talented Videographer. We worked together on hundreds of projects over those years which include three Billboard charting records for Manhattan Transfer Co-Founder and brilliant jazz vocalist Laurel Masse. Steve co-produced and engineered these critically acclaimed recordings. Steve’s video recording, editing and mixing ability brought the PBS special “I Am Ireland” to life. The program featuring the great Irish Tenor and Actor Paddy Homan with his trio along with forty-three orchestral musicians all recording remotely was done during the pandemic. Steve was an audio and editing wizard doing what would seem to be impossible. The program aired in over 250 markets nationally and was a huge success. Steve recently completed a major project for The Kennedy Forum on Mental Health which will air this year on PBS. He is a busy man for good reason.
